1. Overview

At EvE3UM Software we design local-first Windows applications. We believe your data and ideas belong strictly to you. This Privacy Policy outlines how your information is handled when using any of our desktop applications.

2. Information Collection and Storage

3. Artificial Intelligence and Microsoft Foundry

Our applications leverage Microsoft Foundry capabilities, including Windows ML, to provide automated text, image, and data processing features. Depending on your system configuration, this AI inferencing is either processed natively on your local hardware (NPU, CPU, or GPU) or processed securely using cloud-based infrastructure through Microsoft Foundry. Microsoft Foundry provides technical safeguards against the generation of harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.

User prompts, text inputs, and generated outputs processed locally on your device are not transmitted to or stored by us. If cloud-based models are utilized, data is processed in accordance with the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum and is not used to train public foundational models.

4. Network and Internet Access

Our applications operate offline by default. The application does not transmit your personal data, workspace content, or usage habits over the internet to us or any third party.

5. Third-Party Access and Data Sharing

Because we do not collect or store your data on external servers, we do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your personal information or application content to any third parties under any circumstances.

6. Windows Permissions and Hardware

Our applications utilize standard Windows 11 system capabilities strictly required to render the desktop user interface, store localized configuration files, and execute on-device background processing. They do not access system peripherals (such as camera or microphone) or sensitive location data without explicit Windows system prompts.

7. User Rights and Data Control

You retain 100% control over your data at all times. You may back up, modify, or permanently delete your local database, workspace files, and application settings at any time simply by managing or deleting the files from your Windows user directory.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in local software capabilities or legal compliance requirements. Any updates will be published to this page with an updated effective date.
